Vision
I share Plano ISD's vision for every student to proactively adapt to new learning opportunities throughout their lives, collaborate with and contribute to the global community, and be both creative and disciplined in their thinking.

Actions
This vision translates into actions that:

• Prepare students for success in life within a global economy,
• Create multiple pathways for all students to be successful,
• Recruit and retain the most highly qualified teachers, and
• Partner with parents and the community.

Commitment
I will continue to ...

• Engage young people in their own learning and transferring this learning to academic success,
• influence the design of a new statewide accountability system that recognizes student growth and measures 21st century skills,
• promote the design of a new statewide school finance system,, and
• advocate for Plano ISD through state and national legislative channels and local community organizations.
